All information The Kids Hall of Fame gathers online is held with the utmost care and security and will only be used in ways for which parental consent has been given, such as in our: magazine (The Kids Hall of Fame News), trading cards, web site, mini traveling exhibit, and future calendars, set of books and building.
The Kids Hall of Fame does not sell, rent, loan, exchange, or release any personal information gathered on our web site to any third parties unless given permission to do so by the child's parents/guardians.
If our web site visitors e-mail us and indicate they want to be added to our mailing list, they will receive a free copy of our magazine, The Kids Hall of Fame News. We will also e-mail answers to our visitor's questions regarding our project, products, and services.
Verifiable Parental Consent
Kids under age 13 must get permission from their parents before contacting us by e-mail, postal mail, telephone, or through our "Contact Us" form.
Before The Kids Hall of Fame collects, uses, or disseminates personal information from kids under age 13 (or any of our nominees) we want to first obtain their parents' consent. We request that our visitors do not provide any information regarding any child without first obtaining consent from that child's parents.
After giving consent, parents will also have the option to review, change, or delete a child's personally identifiable information, revoke the consent and refuse to permit collection of further information.
Notice to Parents
The Kids Hall of Fame will make a concerted effort to contact the parents of every kid from who we have received an e-mail. We will also make a copy of the child's e-mail available to his/her parent.
