Brittney Grimes published her first book. It contains 40 of her original poems of which she also illustrates.

Her interest in poetry began at age 4, when she read greeting cards in a stationery store.
At age 6, she started writing her own poems.
At age 7, her poetry won several awards.
At age 8, she mailed a copy of her book to President Clinton, who replied with an encouraging letter.

Brittney’s been featured on various TV programs and received a standing ovation at Showtime at the Apollo. She holds book signings and gives public presentations.
